Organisational and Team Development
Strengthening how people work together — not just what they work on.
Your organisation or team might be thinking:
“We want to strengthen how we work together — our relationships, communication, culture and ways of working — but need some support and space to do that well.”
Sometimes this comes from something not feeling quite right. At other times, a team might be growing, restructuring, navigating change or simply wanting to invest in working even better together.
Organisations can have the right strategies, structures and processes in place and still find that something gets in the way. That's because how people relate, communicate and work together is part of how an organisation functions.
I support organisations and teams to pay attention to their relational infrastructure — the relationships, trust, communication, behaviours and ways of working that enable people to collaborate, navigate challenge and get things done.
You might bring CCC in to help with:
✦ Strengthening team relationships, communication and collaboration
✦ Reconnecting or developing a team following change or restructure
✦ Exploring team dynamics and ways of working
✦ Turning organisational values into everyday behaviours and practice
✦ Strengthening relational culture across an organisation
✦ Building collaboration across teams, professions or partnerships
✦ Creating space for reflection, learning and collective sense-making
✦ Exploring psychological safety, participation and belonging
✦ Developing shared purpose, priorities and ways forward
Why invest in how people work together?
Because relationships aren't separate from organisational performance — they shape it.
Investing in your relational infrastructure can help create:
✦ Teams that communicate and collaborate more effectively — with greater understanding of each other's roles, perspectives and strengths
✦ Greater trust and psychological safety — so people are more able to contribute ideas, ask questions, challenge constructively and raise difficulties
✦ Less friction, misunderstanding and duplication — reducing the time and energy lost when communication or relationships aren't working well
✦ Better use of people's time, knowledge and resources — enabling clearer conversations, stronger collaboration and more effective decision-making
✦ More ideas, learning and innovation — creating the conditions for different perspectives to be shared and new ways of working to emerge
✦ Greater resilience through change and complexity — strengthening the relationships and ways of working that help people navigate uncertainty together
✦ Values that are lived, not laminated — translating organisational values into everyday behaviours, relationships and decisions
✦Trustee, staff and leadership relationships — strengthening trust, communication and partnership between those responsible for governance and those leading and delivering the work.
✦ Greater connection, belonging and shared ownership — helping people understand how their contribution connects to a wider purpose
✦ Better experiences for the people you serve — because how people work together internally influences the services, relationships and experiences they create externally.
Relational infrastructure can be easy to overlook because you can't always see it — but you can often feel the consequences when it isn't working well.
My approach combines skilled facilitation with relational and participatory organisational development. I create the conditions for people to step back from the day-to-day, understand what's happening, surface different perspectives and identify practical changes that strengthen how they work together.
The aim isn't simply to have a good conversation about how you work. It's to help create better ways of working that continue long after the conversation has ended.
