Michelle Old
Founder of Conversations That Create Change
Freelance Coproduction Consultant, Youth Work & Coproduction Trainer and Workshop Designer and Facilitator
With over two decades in Youth & Social Care and Public Health, and informed by my own care experience, I created Conversations That Create Change to foster inclusive, impactful spaces and dialogue through co-production consultancy, training, and facilitation.

At the heart of my work is conversation—used as a powerful tool to shift perspectives, share power, and spark real change. I bring trauma-informed practice, real-world experience, and deep empathy into every conversation, supporting individuals and organisations to build skills, explore ideas, and take action together.

As a qualified Youth Worker and Trainer, I bring a commitment to equity, empathy and authentic participation. My practice is participatory drawing on approaches such as Authentic Relating, Liberating Structures, Technology of Participation and Experiential Learning to design engaging, context-specific processes.
My aim is always to create inclusive spaces where dialogue leads to lasting change.

If you’re looking for thoughtful, purposeful support to help your people or projects thrive, I’d love to connect.
